Grammy-nominated percussionist Souhail Kaspar returns to the Valley of the Sun for a fun-filled weekend of dance, music, & drum workshops.
It's the Fourth Annual Spring Hafla event with Souhail Kaspar.
This years special guest artists include:
multi-talented Moroccan musician Rachid Halihal, Khadijah a diverse world class performer/instructor & Naia who has been capturing audiences with her graceful & exciting dance styles of both Bellydance & Hula.
The workshops will take place at
Plaza de Anaya World Fusion Studio in Tempe, Arizona
Friday night at Plaza de Anaya we will have a special local Hafla
featuring some of Arizona's incredible talent.
There will be open dancing for everyone
when the featured dancers are not performing.

Located at the historic Kerr Cultural Center in downtown Scottsdale, the show features the Souhail Kaspar Near East Ensemble with guest artist Rachid Halihal performing beautiful music from the Arabian Gulf, Moroccan vocal numbers and exotic dance performances including the folkloric Khaligi dance, a taste of native Hawaiian dance, and the traditional belly dance of Egypt.
